March 2, 2024 - Medium- red ruby color, lightening up a little towards the rim. Slightly candied aromatics of candied red and darker berries, some smokey/baconey notes that are probably caused by oak, there are also notes of violets as well as some orange zest. It's medium-bodied, with medium acidity and some medium tannin that is a little grippy. Good length. A pretty, but not overly complex red Burgundy that is very good QPR.

November 11, 2023 - The fruit was struggling to get through the oak, but what showed was dark and slightly candied with a bit of earth. Not bad, but it was a struggle to find pleasure in it. I have finally realized that I prefer Lafouge Meursault to the reds.

April 21, 2023 - Mary Taylor Wine Tour d'Amtrak and Dinner; 4/20/2023-4/21/2023 (New York, NY): Small glass. Maybe it just pales in comparison to the 2005, but this seems light and almost interesting.

January 14, 2023 - The nose is a knockout with red fruit and earth. The palate is darker fruit and minerals. It is supple, pure, and drinking beautifully, but has the structure to age.
