April 28, 2024 - Deep and brooding, needs time to open up, feels a bit alcoholic, dark cherry, earth, soft tannins. Not my preferred style.

August 4, 2023 - Enjoyed @Noble Rot Mayfair, London, UK. Lovely villages wine. Enjoyable nose of red cherry fruits yet a hint of sulphide to be decanted. In the mouth, juicy, fresh and elegantly structured. Can be enjoyed now and also deserves continued ageing.

July 13, 2023 - Classic Duroche in that is juicy and very open, though the producer’s style might not be the best match for a vintage like ‘18 as it’s just a tad on the ripe side. Good, not great.

    June 30, 2023 - Au Quinze Vin, à Paris
Joufflu et assez profond, c’est rond, sans tanin perceptible, belle fraîcheur. Plein et délicieux. 90 pts

June 30, 2023 - First bottle from a half case purchased from the Dutch importer in 2020. Decanted three hours in advance. Expressive nose, violets and raspberries, deeper hints of spice and black fruit, lift from the stems; remarkably vibrant and energetic palate for the vintage, cool minerality but good weight and density, firm but refined tannins; tight and youthful finish, nice hint of strawberries and cream, pure and persistent. Quite an achievement in this vintage. It is probably best to let it rest for another two years. Drink 2025-2030+.
