Restaurant, George Street, Sydney): Earthy, savoury, concentrated, slight liquorice, dark brooding fruit; perhaps a little over extracted (?) slight stalks. Rich, dense, weighty, structured, dark hued fruits, drying but silky tannic burr travel hand in hand with the fruit. Long, very good.

July 17, 2019 - Dark, purple-red colour. Smells of roses and violets, quite sappy and floral with a sort of stony/mineral component in the background. Something attractively smoky too suggesting some whole bunch. Ripe, red-cherry flavours on the palate, very flavoursome and rich with a lovely sourness balancing things out. Tart marachisno cherry vibe. Fine dusty tannins. Great.
