February 27, 2023 - Another glorious bottle with abundant perfume and smooth texture in a medium-weight body. This wine appears to be fully mature, but no rush to drink. Cellared since original release.

    May 3, 2021 - not blind
so young, refreshing acidity, soft tannins, rat, licorice, roses, some nice cherry note but in the background, balanced, at his peak, at least 5 more years. 96

December 5, 2020 - Dec Barolo Night @ Jake's!: First time trying this maker. Red fruits, black fruits, black cherries. Quite fresh and racy. Enjoyed the chewy tannins and the vibrance. My no. 2 wine tonight! 93/94

May 17, 2020 - Silky texture, red fruits, elegance. Only a touch of alcohol on the finish prevented a still higher rating. Cellared since original release.

February 6, 2015 - Gala Dinner at Antonio Galloni's La Festa del Barolo (Four Seasons Restaurant, NYC): Brought by Fabio. Muted black fruit nose. Juicy. More structured and complex than the Acclivi. Needs time.
