November 22, 2023 - Blame me for drinking it too soon. Not ready and I'm not sure if it will be.

June 25, 2023 - Ripe Blackberry, plum and cassis, violets and chocolate, beautiful and powerful. Fresh mint notes lifts the nose, tobacco & spice. Tannins are good, just a little lighter than it’s number one, also without the piercing nose and long finish. Still a very tasty wine that you can enjoy earlier than Cantenac Brown’s first wine.

March 10, 2023 - Nice nose, good minerality. Green, slightly astringent fruit. Might better meld with time? Not terribly impressed given the price point.

February 11, 2023 - Fresh and inviting nose. Notes of mint, graphite, gravel, baking spice, and cassis. Rich and juicy on the palate with dominant dark cherry and plum. Leads into notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and toasted oak. Tannins have some bite, but are otherwise silky. Mouth watering acidity. Great structure. Give it a year or two more.
