Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Drinking Trees wrote:

July 25, 2019 - Nose of mouse droppings, horse hair, and leather. Palate is much better than the nose. At first, there are flavours of old newspaper and hessian, but they are soon replaced by sour fruit and alcohol: cassis, calvados, and thyme. There is an anise note throughout, and the finish faintly resembles that of absinthe. No tannin, but still feels substantial.
