  June 1, 2022 - i have to start with the price... $22. it's by no means a blockbuster and not as good as good as some of the wine we had in sardinia (there are some fabulous farm to table agriturismos that do not bottle their wine for retail sale), but this is solid. a really fragrant, borderline impressive, nose for me (91+)... fruity, grassy, earthy, strawberries, something almost nutty. palate is a let down, a little thin and straightforward. not as robust or complex as the nose would have you think. there's some nice acidity though and there's actually a lingering herbal finish that gives you reason to pause. crushable.

  January 16, 2020 - Opened for 3h. Lot of freshness on the nose; strawberry and red cherry with hints of wet tobacco. Clean and polished. On the light side. Silky tannins and lively acidity supports flavors of cherry coke and a peppery finish.

  December 9, 2019 - A great red fruity, herby nose. The palate has lots of juicy red and black fruit that rolls around your mouth but without being heavy and tannic. A decent balance and a little hit of acidity and the finish of sweet fruits. It's not a complex wine but a fruity hearty wine, I certainly would recommend this and at less than £15 from #thewineshop in #knaresborough worth seeking out to #giveanewwineago .
