July 12, 2010 - On its way over the top now, unfortunately, but still a wine in a class of its own. Intense, gold colour, beautiful in the glass. Peach and apple notes on top of lavender and a bit of resin.

March 30, 2009 - Starting to tire out, though I'm not sure that it wasn't just because it was being consumed next to old Krug, Larmandier and old Rheingau spatlese. Still showed the typical waxy, wooly elements of great Santa Chiara, but without the marked acidity of past vintages.

November 23, 2008 - Color is deep honey bordering on orange marmalade. Nose of comb honey, orange marmalade, quince, and abundant white flowers. No oak or ML in sight. Nicely structured palate, medium short finish.

September 4, 2008 - This wine is organic, and I wonder if there is a greater organic white wine available on the market in the United States.

December 29, 2007 - Disappointing bottle. No aromatics. Dark oxidized color. Boring on the palete. Perhaps the wine was closed.
