Community Tasting Notes 1

February 15, 2020 - BBQ @ Chris and Cae's (Newton Suites): A bit funky for my tastes - this was quite an unusual rose. The nose almost smelt like a light Beaujolais, with strawberries and raspberries with some sous bois on the nose. The palate was bright and simple, with lemons at the forefront and shades of red berry fruit bringing up the rear, with a tingly spine of acid and mineral running the length of the wine. Not unpleasant, but this was more a summer quaffer than anything serious.
