November 24, 2022 - Dr. Frank is producing some really great FLX sparkling. It paired beautifully with a Thanksgiving morning mushroom and smoked Gouda quiche. Sparkling for breakfast? Yes!

November 27, 2021 - Light golden color with many fine bubbles. Profile of brioche, quince, golden apple, and ginger. Good mouthfeel and support from chalky minerality and med(-) acidity. This bottle somewhat lacked the brambly, seedy, raspberry quality and richness that we admire in other vintages of Frank bubbly. Unlikely to be as long-lived as the 2010. Recommend drinking now through 2026. Excellent 91.

January 20, 2021 - Candied citrus peel, apple, and brioche notes on the nose. Nice small creamy bubbles. Green apple, citrus, toast notes, and some minerality on the palate. Medium plus acid, medium plus finish, going from toasty to tart.

January 16, 2021 - Light color. The nose shows fragrant aromas of orchard fruits, ginger, flowers, minerals and toast. This is medium light bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features a mineral element. Delicious.
