September 25, 2023 - Damn this wine is good. Fully developed kero nose, yet enough acid and fruit to see this wine into a fine future. Great fruit on the front that drives through to a long, lingering finish. We make such great rieslings and this remains amongst the best we can achieve. drink over the next few years...or...? May get better, but why wait.

September 8, 2023 - Bob’s cellar. Golden oily yellow, bright and clear. Aged nose, preserved lemon, grip and honey lime oil. Tannins show up, faint lemon acidity but fading, almost austere, with some air this opens up nicely. The acidity is in check to become a frame for this aged wine. This is lovely, but no sweetness so in the form of an aged Aussie Riesling rather than European.

February 6, 2023 - WOW..so fresh and fruit driven for an 18 yr old riesling. Slight kero development on the citric laden nose. golden colour, plenty of acid up front. Full on Limey fruit that drives to a long, fine finish. Incredible wine with a very very long future. Leave for several years and you wont be disappointed..

December 2, 2022 - Bob's cellar. Golden yellow and sparkling bright. Nose has a warm honey opening underpinned by fresh lemon & lime juice, clean and very enticing. Flavours open with sweet peaches propped up by acidity, very balanced and enough zest & pep to keep it ribbon taut. Sparkling fresh, warm too, everything is well balanced. The age has made this superb. Kerosene hints developing as it warms up - fabulous.

October 30, 2022 - Had softened a little but still with lots of wet slate. Probably the white of the night although the Alsace and German showed more development.
