May 5, 2024 - A tale of 2 Tempranillo pt 2 -- but other than the black cherry base, I can't really pick out the variety from the Cayuse sour red cabbage stylings from their yeast or trickery or whatever that is. Thoroughly delicious for the post meal, pre dessert selection; it would have worked with the meatballs as well but the older LdH was the right call for the meal. Maybe I should have held one of these Impulsivos longer term but they all fell victim to impulse one by one, here's an extra-good wine that can't miss. But I'm not going to restart buying this direct, either.

February 24, 2024 - Having the very good fortune to have a good stash of Cayuse going back to 08, I cannot recall tasting anything younger than a 2015, certainly not recently. Anyway, I hadn’t had a Impulsivo in a few years, and had two of these so there you go. At this point it tastes like a young Cayuse. Nothing more nothing less and it was very tasty. Rest now.

October 16, 2021 - Tried a few Cayuse wines and this is decent but doesn’t quite resonate fully with me. Needs putting away for a little while. Quite dense and rich but reminiscent of a modern Spanish wine though as it warms some of those familiar Cayuse and Syrah animal notes come through.
    Enjoyable already though.
