March 17, 2024 - Drank yesterday w minimum decanting, very smooth velvety mouthfeel, fruity, long. i would say this developed very nicely in the bottle.

August 9, 2023 - I struggle with south african wines. They are really not my thing (terroir?). No score

September 6, 2022 - Really nice nose, cherry, plum, sweet spice. On the pallet balance acidity and tannin. Tannins were softer than I was expecting. Medium plus length. Very enjoyable wine

    April 23, 2021 - 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Malbec, 14% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot
Coravined a single glass for dinner (rib-eye, baked sweet potato, avocado). The nose immediately displayed rich black-cherry/berry new world fruits but was clearly young and super tight. Took two hours to open up but was delicious -- earthy black cherry nose; on the palate it was a surprising contrast of smooth chalky herbaceous red cherries with pleasant minerality and structure. Clearly new world fruit with its youthful flavors jumping out of the glass. It drank very much like a wonderful cross between a top-shelf 2018 Napa Cabernet and a 2016 premiere class Bordeaux. Decant for hours or wait 10 years to check back in on this beauty.
