March 16, 2024 - 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Event (Minneapolis, MN): This is why I don't buy anything from last bottle. This is a no Namer winery that threw their inventory over to them and is about the worst Napa wine I have sampled in a long time. Raisins, earth super thin. Short finish and dump this out. Easy pass and should cost around $9.99. I see Wine Spies also carries this and would never buy from them. So many silly sites out there.

February 6, 2024 - I wasn't expecting much. I found it in a stash of wine that I had hidden somewhere. Dark fruit blackberries and blueberries with smoke and smell of Napa dust. Enjoyed it

November 12, 2023 - The 2016 Meadowrock evolved wonderfully while decanted. Sweet aroma of wild flowers, berry pie and black pepper. Taste coats the mouth with wild berry and slight pepper. Wonderful vintage.

March 22, 2023 - Such a robust flavored wine. Lots of tannins and can age for at least five more years. Mouthful of black fruits, oak, cassis, chocolate, and vanilla.

November 26, 2020 - Not complex. Pleasant drinking. Coats glass sides. Medium nose, and pronounced astringent finish accompanied by lingering off-putting sour aftertaste. Bright fruit -- raspberries and plum. Nose disappears within 1.5 hours. Medium on the palate. Acidity not tamed, but tannins already very subdued. Slight tones of earth. Smooth. An unusual Napa wine, given its pronounced fruitiness, lack of dustiness, subdued tannins, and weak to medium body. A big Napa wine that is not big. Sitting a few years longer might help. Poor QPR.
