March 29, 2024 - What a treat to enjoy this bottle with my son & wife. Upon opening the bottle we were greeted to a cork in perfect condition.
The color was garnet, brick and clearly displayed the 19 years in the bottle. Beautiful.
The initial nose told us we were in store for a great evening. Complex out of the shoot and changing over the next couple hours there was so much here. Fig, Raisin, black tea, tar or even soy sauce.
Second wave brought chocolate, dried cherry and even cherry cola.
Flavors followed suit here with the raisin, Fig, chocolate & cola carrying forward. Late in the bottle it seemed like some of the fruit was almost rehydrated with some more cherry emerging.
    Wonderful bottle & experience.

September 9, 2021 - Very nice with a chicken pasta dish. Earthy fruit. Good acid balance.

May 11, 2020 - Drank this bottle with grilled barbecue chicken. PnP. This bottle was a real upside surprise. Earthy cherry flavor profile and really nice balance. A real pleasure to drink. Drink or hold. I have two more bottles to enjoy over the next 5 years.

December 26, 2019 - Impressively full, balanced and flavourful. Colour had clear tinges of age. Mushroom, earthy and red cherry. Loving mouthfeel. Enjoyable

June 1, 2019 - Compared to four years ago this has shed its most bold layers and stayed true to its essence. Still pretty voluptuous for a burgundy, but the balance is great and the quiet fruit is delicious. Finish is light to medium in both length and intensity.
