February 16, 2020 - Entre el estallido y la pandemia – vinos chilenos; 11/3/2019-2/18/2020 (Chile): bright purple in the glass and appreciable body. bright nose of a melange fresh red and blue fruit, crushed dried herbs and wet rocks. fresh, juicy, and generous in mouth, there is a clarity and crunchiness to the fruit that begs for another sip. very primary at the moment, there is a subtle minerality and ample tannic backbone that need a bit of time to flesh out and integrate. long finish.
young wine that has complexity in store. kitchen-sink blend of 51% Syrah, 10% Grenache, 16% Petit Verdot, 15% Petite Sirah, 5% Malbec, and 3% Carignan.
