September 28, 2023 - Vin Jaune is an acquired taste but with wines like this I am willing to learn fast! Very copmlex nose. The palate surprises by feeling much less oxidative in comparison with great acidity and cut. Apparently this can age forever. A specialist use wine either enjoyed on its own for the curiosity factor or paired with hard cheeses such as aged Comtes.

May 30, 2016 - Classic Vin Jaune drinking extremely well now. Apparently ageless, as I don't see how this wine can get anything but even better. The " voile " character is intense. You hardly have to drink this wine to enjoy it. Incredible complexity and intensity. Amazing!

October 26, 2014 - Jura tasting at home - 10/25/14 - Not many appreciated this, as I expected. I found this to be the wine of the night. Dark gold in color, aromas of rancid walnuts, nuts, with a delicate curry background. Very delicate yet extremely complex in the mouth. I could sit all night with one glass of this and be truly satisfied.

March 24, 2010 - Wow, what an intense and complex wine. The nose is beguiling, filled with walnut shells, lemongrass, orange, almonds. The taste is just electric. There is this roundness and sweetness to the fruit, followed by jolts of acidity that is entirely in balance. After a few hour decant this is entire approachable, morphing in flavors and aromas from sip to sip. Love it

January 23, 2009 - Evaluated alongside a 99 Puffeney, 97 Laguice D'Arlay and others. Minerally with green herbs and spice - very round compared to its peers with no angular sharp edges. Approachable.
