October 23, 2010 - Huge extraction, thick and syrupy with tart cranberry notes. Finish was quite acidic. Very manipulated wine. What a mess!

September 1, 2009 - Typical pinot nose and fairly dark red in color. Paired w/ grilled pork tenderloin marinated asian style - soy sauce, ginger, garlic, orange juice, green onions, sesame oil, cilantro, honey s&p. This wine is loaded with tart red fruit, spices, smoke and is high in acid. The finish is marred by so much heat and alcohol that it's gut wrenching to drink. This wine is soooo out of balance. WTF posessed me to buy this?

June 25, 2007 - Very extracted, needs a good 5 years in bottle. Good red fruit with some dirt on the nose. Palate is balanced except for a bit of sour cherry on the finish. Very American style, but quite good.
