April 14, 2023 - Better, perhaps my palate can cope with this sweeter, jammier, softer style after all.

February 15, 2023 - Nope. It was drinkable with food on opening. Can only be described as a generic tasting strawberry drink infused with too much alcohol. Too soft, sweet and dull, prefer a lighter acidic wine with fresher fruit flavours: or at least I yearned for one after drinking a glass of this. Left a couple of days, went back to taste, all fruit aromas and flavours gone. Dominant peppery, earthy notes. Alcohol too present, tannins not present enough. Turned very dark in the glass and meaty on the nose - I’m guessing it oxidised in two days?

September 5, 2022 - This wine typifies what I abhor in so many US made Pinot Noir wines: saccharine sweet bubble gum with no sense of terroir. So many other good wines at this price point. Give me an Etna Rosso DOC, or a Côtes du Rhône. But, I guess there’s a market, so it it’s your thing, more power to you!

January 21, 2022 - This wine really good before dinner, with dinner, and after dinner. Smooth tannins and excellent taste. Can’t wait to taste the 2018. 90+

June 5, 2021 - Oaky nose with aromas of graham cracker and raspberry jam. Pointed. Cranberries and raspberries with quite a bit of sweet graham cracker oak on the finish.
