January 13, 2021 - Cliff Lede can make some spectacular cabs, this Howell Mountain cab is a very nice example of a very good smooth wine. You have velvet on the tongue and layers of black fruit, spice, earth and nice dry tannins. This bottle is very nicely balanced and has a lip smacking sort of finish.

July 12, 2020 - 2016 is on par with the 2015. Has all of the expectations and still delivers on its mountain personality. Yet it melds that taste profile together perfectly. Cliff Lede continues to impress.
