  December 9, 2023 - Rich, juicy oak bomb. Not my favourite style and wouldn’t re-buy at this price. Deep ruby in the glass.
  
  Extravagant nose with notes of peppercorn, violet, menthol, cigar box and blackberry jam.
  
  Palate is full bodied with chewy tannins and hot alcohol.
  
  Flavours are long and rich, almost sweet and extracted. Mint chocolate and cedar leather. Very good length.
  
  I don’t think this improves. Great if you like this style. Similar to Caymus Zinfandel, though perhaps a touch more sophisticated.

  March 8, 2022 - Full bodied with ample, dark fruit. Mostly blackberry and raspberry. Still plenty of tannins left. I noticed a fair amount of vanilla oakiness that I had not noticed before. For me this experience a bit but still a nice Zinfandel.

  October 24, 2021 - Big, full bodied with some black raspberry, blackberry and a hint of bramble on the palate. Nice, grippy tannins which moderated as the evening went on.

  December 5, 2020 - Black fruit and bramble on the nose. Concentrated fruit with a hint of oak and pepper on the palate. Very, very good but not quite a true, traditional Zinfandel, as it is missing some of the spice I expect on the palate. Still delicious.
