July 3, 2017 - Been sitting on this one for a long time. Finally opened last night based on other tasting notes that it won't get any better. Decanted for an hour and started to drink. Very nice but still needed another hour. After 2 hours it really opened up. Extremely enjoyable with ribs. Tannins were completely gone, not hot and long finish. This is definitely at or slightly beyond its peak. Drink up now!!

September 10, 2016 - (Coravined first night, pnp'd following night) Nicely aged Barossa shiraz, fairly muted nose of blueberries, mocha, a touch of herbs. Smooth attack and midpalate, with fully integrated tannins and just enough acidity. Biggish-styled, clearly new world, but not over the top. Will go another 3-5 years but won't improve. Fairly good value for the $24 I paid for it back in the day (albeit from PC).

November 23, 2013 - Dark, almost black. Decanted 20 minutes and let develop in the glass. Nose of espresso, licorice, tar, blueberries in that order. A bit hot, but good mid and long finish that ends with just enough acidity.
