March 9, 2024 - 1 hour decant. Nose: intoxicating blackberry and blueberry compote, coffee, dark chocolate, smoke. Palate is in a much bettter place this time around, matching up with the amazing aromas: ripe blackberries, cassis, figs, charred espresso beans, leather, dry and velvety mouthfeel, full body, big boy, long decadent finish.

February 18, 2023 - Good amount of sediment in the bottle. Decanted for 2.5 hours. Nose: overwhelming cassis, blackberry, figs, blueberry. Leather, nail polish. Palate: black fruit, tannic, tart blackberries, long leathery finish. Not balanced, to tart and dry.
