October 2, 2022 - Excellent value , smooth and fruity, approachable tannins

  • cos65 Likes this wine: 90 points

    April 30, 2022 - Clear ruby
Rather elegant styled Amarone, I initially thought this was old world pinot, reported 15%, but seems much lighter, tart juicy acidity, with less structure than typical. Not a bruiser, no sweetness, but very enjoyable on the more Valpolicella side of the continuum

  • ThijsV Likes this wine:

April 11, 2022 - WSET 3 - session 6 (Utrecht): [Blind tasted] Rather light and elegant for an Amarone, with black currant, black cherry, black berry, raisins, eucalyptus, coffee, chocolate, licorice. Medium+ acidity, medium+ tannins, full bodied, medium+ finish

  • rsct2001 Likes this wine: 90 points

December 12, 2021 - Plum, blackberry and other dark fruit notes. Tobacco and some vanilla. Lighter than a typical Amarone but delicious nonetheless.

December 10, 2021 - Clear Ruby with a garnet tint
    Hot nose
Tart juicy sort of amarone, with a bitter, almost medicinal finish. The heat is present, but almost overwhelmed by the acidity and bitter finish. Nice, but…
