February 2, 2024 - Bordeaux first-growth lunch: Much better than the 2019 that I had previously. Round and rich, white / slightly tropical fruit without being too overbearing or natty. Delicious, fresh and balanced; loved the energy on this.

January 7, 2024 - Du grand champagne l’on en prendrait tous les jours. Il est remarquablement bien équilibré avec une belle fraîcheur, de la finesse et de la complexité. Il présente une légère oxydation qui n’est aucune dérangeante. L’on dirait que ça rajoute de la profondeur au vin.

April 22, 2023 - Very good but definitely something to be had with food. This is not a happy hour or sunshine drinker. Oxidized and almost Sherry like. Some fruit begins to emerge after a few hours. Same impression as my prior note.

April 18, 2023 - Light/mid yellow. Lovely acidity, very pure, clean, fresh. Really delicate. But just the hint of some biscuit notes, and meunier character to round out the finish and provide sufficient body for food. Great balance and poise. This was a great bottle, and one of the best Closerie in recent memory for me
