March 31, 2024 - cheers - time to drink up, still delicious....shorter finish now

December 29, 2023 - If you like a classical and typical left side claret with the cabernet dominating, fresh and green, that's the one for you. Some would call it freshness, some would propably call it green "unripeness". I think it's a fresh classical wine from a weak vintage were fruit, pressure and structure is lacking, but the typical aromas are there. Unnecessary to say, that the palate can't match the interesting impression on the nose. Green pepper aromas of unripe cabernet dominate nose and palate. Interesting wine, but nothing special. 89-90 pts.

    December 25, 2015 - cheers - delicious 1993 Pauillac. Decanted 2 hours before.

November 1, 2015 - Dark red fruit, cedar, earth and some bloody tones on the nose. The medium body brings in some spiciness, good acidity, as well as ripe but still noticeable tannins. Medium finish. Well in balance and drinking beautifully now, although there is still some life left for the future.

March 27, 2014 - This was nice. Good body. Black berries and showing a little of lead pencil and cedar wood. Good long finish with tannins and acidity in balance.
It is supposed to be a bad year (1993) producing diluted and underripe wines, but this one was very drinkable and I'm glad to have one more in my cellar.
