Community Tasting Notes 4

    August 22, 2021 - Only 300 cases produced.
80+ year old vines. 95% Tempranillo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 24 months in new French oak. 100% Organic.
    Decanted.
The nose shows suave and complex scents of vanilla crème, high-end leather and velour notes that compliment the scents of plum pudding, deep red cherry, cassis, toasted coconut, balsamic, crème caramel, pipe tobacco, Danish pastry, baking spices, cocoa and warm earth.
The palate is suave and refined with a creamy texture, plush tannins and structured acidity, all creating a sense of opulence and luxury on the palate. Intense flavors coat the palate in notes of coconut crème, vanilla Chantilly, plum pudding, cassis, muddled dark cherry, Framboise, cardamom and baking spices, Danish pastry, fine suede, flavored pipe tobacco, cocoa, balsamic and earth. The finish is long, expansive and opulent.
    Damn good juice here!

May 6, 2020 - This is a big wine, especially for Spain, with 15% abv. Deep dark purple in the glass with a deep brooding essence of dark fruits and a lot of alcohol on the nose. Rich and full bodied on the palate with a balanced smoothness. Need to buy more

February 18, 2020 - Enjoyed this wine but it is a more modern expression of Spanish wine as it is quite full bodied and smooth on the finish.

February 5, 2020 - Surprised there are no notes for this wine. This is a great one, goes toe to toe with any cab. Medium to full body, great fruit nose and palate, layers and not overpowering like a cab.. will get more
