November 3, 2023 - Tobacco, plum. Nice acidity and good fruit. Drinking well but no rush to drink.

April 22, 2022 - Dark plum, cassis, moderate capsicum in an enjoyable level, nice cedar and chocolate, supple tannins, a little grippy. Good density and weight. Long finish with vanilla, tobacco and earthy hints.
A great red blend from a great vintage, more Bordeaux rather than new world. All mellowed, almost at peak now but might develop more in next 5 years.
merlot 42%, cabernet franc 25%, Carménère 17%, cabernet sauvignon 8% and malbec 8%. BC 97, MC 5
Ap 5/5, Ar 13/15, Pakate 17/20, Overall 5+4/10

February 18, 2022 - Excellent. Mature Bordeaux nose. Well integrated. An emphatic demonstration of why New Zealand Cabernet blends need to lead with Cabernet franc and merlot.
