April 2, 2023 - Zesty, light, citrusy. Nice if that’s what you’re looking for.

April 15, 2022 - Who says you need to pair carbonara with an Italian wine? A great dish to stand up to this highly acidic wine! Faint straw-green colour, almost clear. Initial nose of seashell, lime and grapefruit zest, chamomile. After 15 minutes green apple and unripe peach poked through. On the palate, razor-sharp acid, light body, floral and citrus flavours. Overall maybe a touch too perfumed, but I l liked the diversity of flavours. Pair with the right food, otherwise too acidic.

September 19, 2021 - Great Hunter Valley semillon - love it

September 10, 2021 - Appearance: light clear gold color with hints of green. No gas or sediment and light tearing

Nose: Medium/medium(+) intensity aromas of grapefruit, lemon, and grass with notes of funk. No obvious oaking to me

Palate: medium/medium(+) intense tart flavors of lemon and eucalyptus with notes of white peach. Medium/medium(+) bodied, quite dry, refreshing lean texture, great balance, medium complexity, pretty high acid, and a nice medium-length green and slightly flinty finish

A very intriguing tart and lean semillon! Great balance and some fun herbal notes
