July 26, 2010 - A WILD Sauvignon Blanc...big and rich in style, drinks more like a white Rhone blend than SB. Rich and oily, big legs ala a dessert wine, yet has the cut of acid to break through. Exotic pit fruit, smoky, sherry-like, huge spice, honey butter, Gin juniper berry, white flowers. Really wild with the crispness and acid driven citrus...that quickly turns to sweet and creamy, exotic and cloyingly dry. I like it for what it is.....a freak show SB. Fun wine!

May 15, 2009 - Before dinner. Liking this. Each smell or taste seems to be different. First had SB, roses and pumpkin according to Nancy. I had a harder time with the nose. Then we chilled it and it lost all smell. Lot's of peach and white fruit tastes. There is a flatness (in a good way perhaps the "base" component Tanzer referred to. I even get the Bayer aspirin (children's but I guess I like that). Interesting and enjoyable.

July 18, 2008 - And Then there were FOUR; 7/17/2008-7/18/2008 (queens): Brent nailed it first - this is PURE SAKE. dry rice wine nose. touch floral. botrytis more with time? guava or perhaps even fino sherry without the alc. (alc here though is over 15%!) weird and fun... and weird.. :)

April 30, 2008 - Dense nose of green grapes and slightly ripe pear, its dense white fruit without a particular distinction. Thick body with a slighly sweet and almost muscadet like finish. Trying to wrap my mind around this as this goes beyond interesting to plain baffling.
