April 15, 2024 - Cooked despite good storage. Just not made to age. Oxidized and bitter. Lost in the cellar, found when attempting to drink up some of the old ones.

June 20, 2010 - Outstanding Santa Barbara Chardonnay! Fresh pitted fruit, butter, bit of citrus. Smooth and balanced with muted oak and a great mouthfeel.

April 10, 2010 - {ST} Color is a couple shades darker than the usual yellow, medium-plus body. Nose had a frontal note of sulfur that was somehow not unpleasant, and then in the background pineapple, lemon, vanilla, light spice, and perhaps a little hay. Fairly intense forward tropical flavors are broad on the palate, along with some vanilla and caramel, and a moderate finish of toast. Medium acid. Overall, straightforward tropical chard flavors that are not overblown, but also not remarkable so I don't fully get the the RP score and hype. Drinks at its price point of 18.

January 2, 2009 - Holy pineapple. This is just bursting with zingy fruit. Some malo, too, but not full blown; just enough to give it some creaminess. Also a bit honeyed. While this has no residual sugar, it really reminded me of a bottle of 2002 Sauternes (Suduiraut) I enjoyed recently. Not terribly complex but a lot of fun. Great with Asian food. 88-89.
