June 10, 2023 - * Update: added a point as it seems to have hit its “second wind” on day two after sitting in the fridge overnight. The tannin knot has been replaced with generous red fruit, licorice, a little coffee. The neat aromatics of day 1 aren’t there, but this is very pleasant and drinkable. *

Tried at 1, 2, and 3 hours decanted. It was best at two hours, and gave off a nice nose of blackberries and tobacco. It seemed to be fading at 3 hours. I was expecting a little more. It consistently had a strong knot of tannin on the tongue. Maybe needs more time in the cellar?

March 3, 2023 - Beautiful nose, with both the Merlot and CF aromatics wildly flaoting off. The palate was a bit more singular, however. A good wine but perhaps a bit steep at this price point.

November 22, 2022 - Medium bodied, quite fragrant after 15 minutes of air... in a good drinking window.

August 8, 2022 - Kind of thin, not the tongue coating heavy cab. While there is not a lot of complexity here, if you prefer a lighter cab you may enjoy this.
