May 19, 2021 - A survivor, this bottle was in very good condition - no traces of oak left and no flab, but the fruit is gently declining. Drink up.

July 12, 2019 - Deep brown-yellow with noted evolution. Aromas of damp chalky and honey. There is a grippy, vibrant acid on the entry, clearly honeyed with some white peach as well. A broad mid-palate but sadly the wine has seen better days and the honey is invasive. May have been a slightly scalped bottle?

December 24, 2015 - Still smooth and round in the mouth. Beautiful deep yellow color. A fantastic pairing with stuffed pork loin and root vegetables.

May 26, 2013 - This was the last bottle. Beautiful coppery colour and gently oaky. South African chardonnay at its very best.
