    December 19, 2022 - Very much alive, with good typicity and persistence. A touch of VA but otherwise a real pleasure nearly 30 years on.

    December 24, 2021 - A great disappointment. Our last bottle and it was corked. We could tell that there was great wine underlying the wet cardboard smell. Very sad turn of events.

    February 8, 2020 - Delicious. Alive, complex, ready to drink.

    May 25, 2018 - Soft and pleasant nose, mild brett, and a fresh juicy strawberry. Nose is actually pretty intriguing with florals and licorice. Palate has a big dose of primary black and blue berry fruit flavor with a nicely devolved texture, and even the high alcohol is integrating agreeably here.

    March 22, 2018 - {Bought on release [for $40!]- perfect fill, have had many bottles}
    Mature, lots of secondary notes. Still has good attack - this is a FOOD wine and shows less well if you try to drink it without protein or fat in the mouth. Agree the Clos Erasmus style evolved with using more ripe fruit and different cepage as time went on... having said that....
    Fair amount of acid (see RA1 note), still very Priorat fruit and nose, some drying tannins tonight, medium length. Fairly dramatic difference if you try it without, or with, food. Giving this bottle 90 points but have always thought this a 92-94 pointer, one friend thinks this is best wine he has had in his life, so this may be a weak bottle. Sophisticated wine. If you have an adequate stock would try a bottle now to assess if needs drinking up soon; much better at 2 hours, and initially striking acidity more in balance.
