  March 15, 2024 - As mentioned by previous reviewer, this seems a bit closed currently and may need a bit of time in bottle. Strong barnyard notes, crisp acidity, nice cherry fruit, very elegant tannins and a very juicy style. Likely to show better with a bit of age. - 92+ points

  January 20, 2020 - For me the best wine of the evening and a highlight in an amazing series of 2017s from Kopfensteiner. This is extremely elegant with a juicy and bright dark cherry fruit, soft texture, gorgeous acidity (Maybe slighty less than Saybritz), a bit of dark chocolate, super long finish. A textbook Blaufränksich from Eisenberg. - 93 points
