Community Tasting Notes 13

  • Gary Hallmark Likes this wine: 90 points

January 17, 2023 - Cherry and hints of licorice and cigar on the nose.
Taste of tart cherry then slightly bitter oaky tannins for a longer finish that blends it all together. Very good value.

    June 16, 2022 - Clear Garnet
    Tart nose
Rich mouthfeel, but lowish alcohol and a distinctly bitter finish.
    Rather fabulous at this level.

January 2, 2022 - Retail $18. 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta. There is really no other way to put it--this is a delightful wine, that is fantastic on its own and would perhaps be enhanced by food. Fruity, but not over the top, just the right amount of acidity, and what comes off as a bit sweet (but I have found no indication that it is). Really, just a fun, fantastic wine.
