March 26, 2023 - Burgundy Bachelor Party: Gobsmackingly brilliant. Breathtaking precision and delineation. This is the top echelon of great Burgundy, ergo one of the greatest wines in the world. Incredibly fresh with secondary nuances, this should be a stunner for decades.

November 19, 2022 - Acker JK 51st birthday in NYC. Intoxicating perfumes to die for, plums, grilled meats, dark forrest, black fruits, a time stopper, followed by a complex mouthfeel, silky,plenty of sap and depth of flavors, lifted and chalky finish. Brilliant.

6/1/2001 (link)(Rousseau Armand Chambertin) Deep colour. Again a higher-toned nose, but somehow different to last. High acid with slightly higher tannin than the previous wine. This wine is fuller and sweeter, with an even longer finish than the Clos de la Bèze. A hint of creamy oak still on the finish.
