December 10, 2014 - Very smokey on first opening, some fruit underneath; decanted and held, tasted over 1.5 hours and never really dissipated the overtly smokey character, a little tart on the flavors, medium body but never achieved anything but sourness and smoke/ burnt. May be flawed but consistent experience with other adjacent vintages.

May 26, 2012 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Mike's & LA's): Lovely red & black fruit aromas; chocolate and vanilla. Medium-bodied, with flavors of red fruit, blackberry and vanilla. Chalky tannins noticeable on the finish.
