August 23, 2022 - This Campolieti has some strong points, including an easygoing, soft style, lots of dark fruit flavors and aromas, correct alcohol levels and an inherent complexity. Those are overwhelmed by the vanilla and spice of wood. At this price it would be a great choice if they ever reduce that excessive vanilla and spice.
