March 29, 2024 - Drinkable and tasty, but I couldn’t get past a “ketchup” tang that the VA seemed to be supporting. Have seen this also in Christian tchidas wines as well.
Otherwise easy drinking, ample blue and black berries, but the light alcohol makes it fun to drink. Wish the weird edge wasn’t there, but maybe that was this bottle. -

November 29, 2023 - Tasty blackberry and boysenberry on the nose and structured palate with earth and spice notes on the moderate long finish.

May 12, 2022 - PNP into Atiap Titanium 200ml wine vessel ("Root" day): Medium purplish garnet to the eyes.
Textbook Californian ripe dark red fruits, inky. Fruit forward and earthy notes to follow. Complex nose.
Medium tannins that is smoothly textured, petillance. Good energy and minerality to compliment the complex flavors here.

January 12, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours. Quite improved from my last bottle. Rich black fruit with lots of savory characteristics. Black olive, pepper, even some salinity. Quite enjoyable! Drink now - 2031.
