July 28, 2020 - I accidentally ’lost’ some bottles of this in a garage, with fluctuating temperatures for over a year, and didn’t have high hopes but it’s developed beautifully!
Medium on the nose with quite pronounced flavours of damson, blackberry, blackcurrant, bay leaf, black pepper, bacon fat and liquorice with hints of leather and dry earth. Quite high, firm but ripe, tannins, high (14.5%) alcohol but totally integrated, good acidity and a medium+ finish. Really lovely for £8!
I migh plan to ‘lose’ some more bottles.

June 5, 2020 - Nice nose, easy drinking, but flavour just disappears - no length. Ok qpr.
