  March 1, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles - The Verticals (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Vertical. Incredibly harmonious now vs 2018, this is both tasty and energetic. Very good now with further upside. Very good length.

  January 27, 2023 - “What you want every Meursault to taste like” was the somm’s description. And if I knew my burgundy villages better I would probably agree :). Surprising wine to me — had the perfume ethereal nose of a burgundy that danced up on top, and down below like a fog in the valley was a thick layer of oaky buttery Napa chardonnay (a restrained one, but still). Not a ton of acid — felt sun baked (the grapes, not the wine)

  December 20, 2022 - Very nice clarity and transparency, good minerality but a bit oily notes. Delicate and pretty.

  July 10, 2021 - Boulder Burgundy Festival 2019 with Adam M ~ Super gasoline forward, I know I’m supposed to call this petroleum but it was bordering on too much so am going with the less complimentary term.
