October 26, 2021 - Perfect demonstration of the difficulty of the '17 vintage for Jura. When opened it was more austere than post-financial crisis Greece. Threw it in the decanter for a bit, but no hope, and the night was quite advance as it was. Tight, bright, and taut. Poured back into bottle, in fridge... Next afternoon took it out of fridge, removed cork, and let it sit for the next few hours. Revisited with friends that evening. BAM! There we go. Pristine crunchy fruit, more mellowed, complex acidity, bit of tea finish. Now we're talking. Made it to 90 points after sticking around with it. Upon opening it was undrinkable. If you have a bottle would def hold onto a couple more years/open at least the morning before you're planning to drink.

March 5, 2020 - Zachy's La Paulee 2020; 3/5/2020-3/6/2020 (Le Bernardin Prive): Interestingly fresh, not the spice from Burgundy but quite similar to Pinot. 89
