  February 11, 2022 - Certainly varietally correct, but this vintage seemed like a lighter version, perhaps not as much of a punch (lower acidity). We had it with food, but had we known the nature of this bottle, it would have been better before dinner or lighter snacks. Not as impressed as I have been with other vintages and other Roar offerings, especially given the price. But certainly a good bottle of wine.

  June 26, 2021 - Pale in color. Cloud-like texture on the palate. Fairly neutral in flavor profile with white stone, some floral and slight minerality. Somewhat delicate in flavor and texture is the most noticeable trait. Would pair well with oysters, shrimp or crab legs.

  January 17, 2021 - This one started out a bit dry and reticent. As it warmed in the glass it unfolded like a rose. Both delicate aromas emerges in both the nose and palate. Crystilized ginger and floral notes emerged. Very pristine, pure and elegant. Almost cloud like in nature. Great QPR.

  November 21, 2020 - Wow, 93-94, what a beauty! Everything in balance, no overt oak, a full palette of Chard flavors. Love this one, and it's drinking really great now. Bravo for a New World triumph of the classic grape!
  
  2/6/21 Last bottle = 92. A bit stiff and not a great buy. We much prefer Rombauer at $36 and Beringer Reserve @ $32. We must have been in a good mood for the previous bottle.
