June 22, 2021 - Tasted at the winery in Arroyo Grande. 38% Grenache, 33% Cabernet, 17% Tempranillo, and 12% Petite Syrah. Nose of black cherries and black plums. Flavors of sweet black cherry and black raspberry preserves. This one was a little too sweet on the palate for me. It was also not quite balanced as there was a pronounced alcoholic bite with puckering tannins. Maybe some time in the bottle will help balance things out but it was not doing it for me at the present time.
