    April 3, 2024 - Dark ruby hue.

Aromas of bell pepper, blackberry, caramel, cassis, cherry, chocolate, leather, licorice, oak, plum, tar, vanilla.

Medium-plus body, medium tannins, plus acidity. Soft and plush on the palate, with notes of cherry and oak on an otherwise short finish. Such easy drinking.

Amazing QPR - $10 at Grocery Outlet in 2020. Solid and sessionable.

89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec.

April 16, 2021 - Great, full bodied smooth cab.

November 29, 2020 - Very representative of Washington Cabernet Sauvignon. Slightly dusty tannins, a bit of tobacco leaf, and delicious Cab Sauv fruit. Drinking quite nicely now, and should hold until 2023. This wine goes down way too easy.

August 30, 2020 - Blackberry, pepper, cherry. Dark chocolate rounds it out. Delicious on its own.

July 3, 2020 - Unfortunately the last vintage of this wine. This Cab is listed as Columbia valley but a large portion of fruit came from the Southwind Estate vineyard in Walla Walla.
The nose show a mixture of smashed blackberry, cassis and dark cherry that are grounded with notes of herbs, pencil shavings, cigar box, pepper, earth, espresso and hints of pine resin.
The palate shows structure with berry like acidity, and firm-gripping tannins. Abv is moderate+. Flavors are classic WA state cab with plenty notes of dark berries, cassis, espresso, graphite, cedar, pepper, herbs and earth. The concentrated finish lingers. This should improve with a little time.
