April 29, 2024 - Medium ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe strawberry, ripe morello cherry, forest floor, mushroom, wet leaves, rose petals and violet. Medium taste of ripe strawberry, ripe morello cherry, forest floor, mushroom, wet leaves, black pepper, licorice and dried herbs. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Light and grainy tannins. Medium body. A very good Fleurie that has matured well. Needed an hour of air to integrate. Drink now. Goes well with duck, mushrooms or pork.

August 5, 2022 - Bought and consumed in the Netherlands. Introvert nose, not as floral as I hoped for from a Fleurie. Where are the esters of violets and bright field and forest flowers? The mouthfeel is pleasant, round despite the noticeable and it itself nice acidity. Licorice flavors from the gamay shines, dominates and lingers. Almost one dimensional. The wine has an impressive low abv of 12.5% in a hot year. Incomplete fermentation? There is something that held this wine back in nose and flavors. Not a wine to dislike but unfortunately not as good as a Fleurie should be, not what I hoped for and not a repeat purchase at 23 euros.

February 14, 2022 - Very nice. Acidity sets it off balance a bit. Uplifting, lingering finish.
