July 29, 2023 - Pours purple-garnet. Big, bold nose of blackberry preserves, licorice, pipe tobacco, and hot chocolate. Palate adds black pepper and a touch of brown sugar. Long and round on the finish, there are no sharp edges here, this is a powerful wine. Medium + body, medium + tannins, medium acidity.
