October 13, 2023 - 14.5% alkohol.

April 21, 2022 - Definitely a fitting name for this wine as it bogles the mind that I only paid 7 dollars for this at the grocery store.
Just looking for something to go with some home made pizza tonight. I figured this was cheap enough and how bad could it really be?? I was amazed at how good this was right after opening it. Others have nailed the flavors. blackberry, a little cherry at times, especially on the aftertaste that coats the pallet. Yes it coats the pallet and it lingers for awhile. Very nice actually. Slight acidity to it as it lingers but overall pretty decent.
As you sip this it really coats the pallet and has a great mouthfeel to it. The flavors aren't intense or complex but they are very nice. I gave this a really high score. Not because it is an incredible wine but because it is an incredible value. I see others have paid 9 dollars for this. At 9 dollars my score wouldn't change. I don't know for sure but I am guessing that in the 7-9 dollar category there aren't many that are this good.
Will probably be good with pot roast, beef stew, burgers and inexpensive steaks.
I wouldn't back the truck up and I will definitely buy a handful of bottles just to have as an really good table wine.
