  April 15, 2024 - I detected aromas of rose petals, sugar cane, blackberry, potting soil, molasses, licorice, & dark chocolate. The finish was long, with melted tannins at the start & a hint of dry, bitter tannins over time, which balanced the richness.
  
  My taste has changed since I first had this bottle Now, I wouldn't buy it at the price when there are better options though 😞

  March 30, 2024 - Did a comparison tasting with the 2019 over the course of a meal with appropriate decanting and breathing beforehand. Both are well built delightful wines where the 2018 carries more tannin and grape while tilting less into the dark fruit and “boldness” of the 2019. Both wines are a success and the taster makes their choice on personal preference.

  January 1, 2024 - Still a favorite to break out with company. This is dark fruit all the way. Bold tasting and a bit sweet. Nice finish.

  November 25, 2023 - Structured dark red fruit on the nose and interesting secondary notes not typical of Napa Valley Cabs. Med finish with softening tannins and light acidity.
